When I wake up in the morning, I typically find myself rushing out of the house to get to school. Because I rush out of my house in a hurry, I end up skipping the most important meal of the day, which is breakfast. If you’re like me, yogurt is a solution to your worries! Here are my four yogurt recommendations:
Yakult
Yakult is a nice yogurt drink that’s very portable and tasty. Not only is the packaging very cute and iconic, but you can easily open the container by pressing your finger into the foil top. This gives you easy access to the yogurt drink. Yakult is easy, fun, and portable! Because of this, I 10/10 recommend you to try it. Although it can be a bit pricey, if you got that extra cash, TREAT YOSELF! You can get it at Lucky Supermarket, 99 Ranch Market, and Safeway.
Yoplait
Yoplait can be bought in bulk at Costco, which can last you a month or two. There’s no need to worry about flavors either, as there are only three in a pack: blueberry, strawberry, and peach. Each day, you can indulge in a different flavor. If you are tired of these flavors, just drive down to your local supermarket and have your pick, maybe even try the key lime pie or orange creme! They even have this new french yogurt that I have yet to try. Depending on how you plan to carry your yogurt, either in a backpack or holding it in your hands, it is very convenient to grab and go. It does require a spoon, since you can’t just squeeze it into your mouth. This receives a 9/10 recommendation because you might get tired of the Costco flavors, since the Costco pack only has the basic flavors.
Gogurt
This yogurt also does not require a spoon. It’s convenient and easy, simply grab a tube and go. There is no need to prepare this yogurt! All you have to do is rip the top and squeeze. If you can’t eat in class, you can squeeze it during passing period or chug it at the door. Everyone loves a good Gogurt! Everyone who passes by will be jealous of your tasty Gogurt, wishing they had one of their own. 8/10 recommend for someone who doesn’t need to eat a lot for breakfast, but still wants to eat something to gain some energy.
Noosa
Now, this last yogurt is very tasty, but with quality comes a price. This yogurt is very pricy, but super tasty. My recommendations are the lemon flavor because it tastes like cheesecake. You heard me, cheesecake! Mango is a good flavor too, so it is probably my second favorite. The other flavors are interchangeable for me, but lemon and mango are the best in my opinion. Don’t come at me, please. Again, if you got the cash and you aren’t looking for a filling meal in the morning, this yogurt might be for you. It does require a spoon and comes in an almost plate-like container. I would recommend at least trying it once, giving it a solid 15/10. Similar to the other yogurts, Noosa is also very tasty. Sometimes when I get home from school, I run to the fridge just to get my Noosa.
This concludes my yogurt review. Please do not comment on my yogurt recommendations, as it may hurt my feelings. Have fun eating breakfast and stay nutritious.
Pro tip for these yogurt dwellers
Yakult can be made into a slushie. Just put it in the freezer, and once frozen, take it out and let it thaw for a bit. When it’s at its prime, smash it repeatedly. Bam! Yakult slushie. You can also add things like sprite to add an extra touch to your slushie .
A parfait?
Ingredients:
Plain Yogurt
Berry Yogurt
Berry syrup
Blueberries
Strawberries
Granola
First, wash your berries. Put equal part plain yogurt to berry yogurt, add berry syrup to taste in a bowl. If you want it to look cute, mix the two yogurts and add the syrup without mixing it. Top it with granola, strawberries, and blueberries and you are done. Enjoy!
