As a freshman, you have just begun  a new chapter in your life transitioning  from middle school into high school, confused about the journey ahead. Mia Arcleona (9) created a nail business, Nails by Mia, unaware of what’s to come, 

Mia Arcleona started her business during online school as a way to pass extra time she had. By watching nail videos, she’s improved her skills significantly, showing the endless amount of designs she can create.

Having had her business for about a year and a half, she’s come up with plenty of nail designs. Arcleona mentioned, “My favorite nail design I’ve done is this super cute red blooming gel design.” Mia has also made many more designs like cute floral designs, stars,  etc. 

Along with that, she also says,”My favorite thing about my nail business is that I get to be creative while making other people happy.”

In regards to  her plans for her nail business in the future, Mia said “Yes, I will most likely continue with nails even after highschool especially because I’ve been told a lot of girls in college are always looking for someone to do their nails when they’re away from home.”

Through all the ups and downs, Mia Arcleona has been able to balance quality time and her nail business while being a student at Mills.
