With Halloween around the corner, many people are ready to embrace their Halloween spirit. And as we all know, it is serious business. From making sure you have the best costume to getting the most candy, this spooky season brings out the best in everyone. However, in addition to these conventional activities, there are a handful of other activities that you can also do to ensure you have an unforgettable Halloween experience.

If there’s one thing Halloween has taught us, it’s to get creative. The moment October rolls around, decorations are sprung on houses everywhere. And there is always room for more. You can turn your home into a haunted house by stringing up lights, hanging wreaths made of candy, putting up fake spiderwebs, and needless to say, adding a display of pumpkins of all shapes and sizes. Don’t forget to decorate them by carving them, painting them, and adding candles to make them jack-o-lanterns! Next to these jack-o-lanterns, make sure to add tombstones, smoke machines, and fake spiders to take it to the next level.

As we all know, Halloween is not Halloween without its iconic foods such as pumpkin pie, candy corn, and pumpkin bread. But it doesn’t stop there. There are endless variations of tasty recipes to cook up in the kitchen. You can start with making Halloween-themed donuts, decorated like pumpkins, bats, ghosts, and witches. These can also be made in the form of cupcakes and cookies. For drinks, you can serve red fruit punch with (fake) eyeballs in it, as well as other colorful, fun juices to spook your guests. And of course, you have to make candied apples decorated with multi-colored sprinkles and covered in caramel.

Last but certainly not least, playing games with your friends and family is a must on Halloween night. You can play bean-bag toss with carved-out pumpkins or ring toss with pumpkins, too. You can also do a Halloween-themed scavenger hunt, hiding different decorations around the house. Naturally, you and your friends can also visit the nearest Instagram-worthy pumpkin patch to take pictures and have fun. To top your night off, you can have a Halloween movie marathon with caramel corn, or simply share scary stories to frighten each other. Either of these activities and more can guarantee a fun Halloween night, so make sure to enjoy this spooky holiday with your loved ones.
